It's always stressful to see a specialist. You and I are a Team.

We will talk and make all decisions together, as slowly or as quickly as it takes.

Together we will make this journey the least stressful that we can.

I finished medical school at Otago University in 2002.  I then undertook my general surgery training in New Zealand and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2010. I undertook two years of post-fellowship training specialising in Endocrine Surgery and Surgical Oncology (Breast) at the Royal North Shore and Hornsby hospitals in Sydney. I see my private patients in the clinics in Wellington, Waikanae and Lower Hutt.  I operate at Wakefield Hospital and Bolcott Hospital.

I also work as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Otago Wellington campus, where I teach medical students and perform research in the field of breast cancer.

When not working, I love spending time with my family in Auckland, especially with my niece and nephews. I also play tennis, love to cook and practice yoga and meditation.
